Research Fellowships

Three pathways for researchers to contribute to Entropyology — from short-term collaborations to full residencies.

Three Pathways

How researchers join the Institute.

01

Research Fellowship

PhD-holders and equivalent practitioners spend a defined period at RRI working directly with Colin Quinn and Dr. Holger Jaenisch on the Entropyology research program. Fellows co-develop IP, papers, trade secrets, and patents. No degree is conferred by RRI. The value of the Fellowship is the research, the IP equity stake, and the founder pathway.

02

Habilitation Pathway

For Fellows pursuing the formal Habilitation, RRI provides the research home while a European partner institution runs the Habilitationsverfahren and confers the title. The credential is a real, internationally recognised Habilitation from a real Habilitation-granting authority. Partner institution to be announced.

03

Doctor of Science Pathway

Optional pathway for Fellows pursuing a D.Sc. through an accredited US or international partner. Same model: research happens at RRI, the degree is conferred by the partner. Partner institution to be announced.

Industry

Active commercial collaborations.

LSEC

Licht Strahl Energetix Corporation

Photonics and optical transistor portfolio. LSEC is RRI's primary partner on photonic-enabled computing and Wavefields Computing modalities, with joint IP development across optical transistor architectures.

VDI

Vertical Dynamix Inc.

Utility infrastructure and field operations. VDI brings operational rigour and field-deployed sensing into RRI's Entropyology-informed systems analysis work.

Engage

Serious research begins with serious collaboration.

Whether you are a university research group, an industry R&D leader, or a prospective Research Fellow seeking to work at the frontier — RRI is built for that conversation.
